 Help Dogs Get Healthy Happy  Homes!

There are many ways you can help dogs get healthy happy homes - many of these things take very little time or money.

1. Pray for God to open your eyes to ways of helping dogs get healthy happy homes.
2. Search for the hashtag #adoptdontshop on social media sites like Twitter and retweet the posts.
3. Compose a song and post it to social media to raise awareness of the benefits of adopting dogs.. 
4. Create works of art and donate them to shelters for fundraising.
5. Welcome a rescue dog temporarily into your home by becoming a foster home: Shelters usually do their best to match your home to what they know about the dog and: its suitability with kids and other pets etc. They also cover vet expenses. Some rescues even provide the food.
6.  Make reference calls on behalf of shelters for applications. Reference calls can be done from home, preferably in the evenings or on weekends 
7. Like to drive or fly? Help transport dogs.
8. Enjoy arranging trips? Be a "Run Captain" and arrange transportation for dogs by setting up routes and contacting volunteer drivers 
9. Evaluate dogs for possible intake. Some shelters provide specialized training for this skill.
10. Do home visits: to help match prospective adopters with the right dog 
11. Enjoy postering? Post flyers for shelters at local pet stores, vets, dogs parks --anywhere you can think of! 
12. Are you a people person? Man a table at an event for a shelter.
13. Love parades? Volunteer to walk in a parade and raise awareness for a shelter.
14. Enjoy number crunching? Shelters could definitely use your skills to help with record keeping.
15. Do you love fundraising? Scout out opportunities for fundraising for dog rescues and shelters.
16. Do you have web skills? Many dog shelters and rescues could definitely use your skills.
