In the Rumble video below, a 4-year-old Australian Shepherd named Morty pauses only a few seconds before he gobbles up the treat. But he soon scurries over to the drawer where the owner keeps the treats.
Morty is seen opening the drawer and grabbing another one, placing it where the old treat had been,
He closes the drawer again and waits for his owner like nothing happened
Whether Morty is cleverly trained or really mooching treats, this video from Rumble is truly a spot of sunshine on a cloudy day.
About Australian Shepherds
Australian Shepherds are a medium-sized, athletic breed, usually standing between 18 and 23 inches (46 and 58 cm) tall and weighing between 35 and 70 pounds (16 and 32 kg).
Australian Shepherds have a moderately long, wavy double coat with a dense undercoat and coarse topcoat. Their coat is short on the face and well feathered on the rear of the legs.

Australian Shepherds are known for their unique colouring and variable coat patterns. Some people believe that no two Australian Shepherds, .have the exact same coat The breed standard allows for mottled blue merle, red merle, solid black or solid red, with or without white markings and with or without tan points.
Australian Shepherd Temperament
Australian Shepherds are described as intelligent, active, loyal, protective, playful and adaptive. You can definitely see these attributes in the Rumble video of Morty. While the modern breed is often bred as a pet, many retain a strong herding instinct and it is not uncommon for companion dogs to try to herd children or other pets.
A very active breed, the Australian Shepherd is known to get into mischief and even become destructive if it doesn't receive adequate exercise. This is not a dog to be left alone for hours at a time with nothing to keep them occupied.
